Hearth runs on a computer. Open this page there.
The first release is on its way.
Three steps
-
1
Open Hearth.
Your world starts on its own.
-
2
Send your code.
Copy the Hearth code or an address, and send it wherever you talk.
-
3
Friends join.
Your world shows up in their Minecraft server list.
Why not something else?
- A paid realm?
- Hearth is free, and it doesn't stop at 10 friends.
- A free host?
- No waiting in line, no ads, and it doesn't shut down when everyone logs off.
- A mod?
- No mods, no mod loader. Friends join plain Minecraft with your address, or through Hearth with your code.
The honest part
- Your computer stays on while friends play. It is the server.
- Java Edition only, on Windows and Apple-silicon Macs.
- Hearth is early, so things may break.
- A few home networks can't reach each other yet.
The first time you open it
Hearth isn't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so they ask once.
- Windows
- If it says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
- Mac
- Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway.
